CAREY PRICE IS BACK ON THE ICE

On Monday, Carey Price joined his Montreal Canadiens teammates at their practice facility in Quebec. This was Price’s first time skating with the team as part of Phase 2 of the Return to Play Plan.

During the coronavirus pause, which began on March 12, Price spent his time with his family in Kennewick, Washington. On June 29, he returned to Montreal.

The Canadiens will enter the Stanley Cup Qualifiers as the Eastern Conference No. 12 seed. They are set to play the Pittsburgh Penguins, who are the No. 5 seed.

“I think that our preparation over the next month will be paramount,” Price said. “It’s the old adage, ‘Anything can happen.’ I know we’re a pretty underrated team. We’re a very streaky team. We have proven that we can get really hot, and that’s what it’s all about in the playoffs.”
