Minnesota trades minor league prospect to Florida

august 24, 2019
The Minnesota Wild made a minor trade today, sending defenseman prospect Gustav Bouramman to the Florida Panthers for future considerations.

Bouramman was a 7th round draft pick of the Wild in 2015. He excelled in juniors and ECHL, but has seen limited playing time in the AHL for the Iowa Wild the last two seasons. The 22-year-old played just 28 games for Iowa, putting up 4 points and a -3 rating.

While the trade seems to be about defensive depths at the AHL level for Florida, it will interesting to see what the Wild end up receiving in return
