Zucker calls out team, coach, following 6th loss in 7 games

october 18, 2019
Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker is frustrated by both his team's effort and the coaching staff's inability to implement a better strategy in order to win games.

The Wild have now dropped 6 of their first 7 games, following their 4-0 loss to the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night, and as a result, the team held a 10-minute players-only meeting after the game.

The Wild are currently 30th in the league for goals scored and 2nd in the league for most goals allowed with 4.14 per game.

Jason Zucker's take on the Wild's struggles: think more than (a meeting's) going to have to jumpstart us to be honest with you. It’s going to be each individual guy from Bruce on down. Bruce has got to be better. We’ve got to be better. Everybody’s got to be better. That’s it."
