Jonathan Huberdeau carves out his spot in Florida Panthers' history

17 novembre 2019
Although he only needed one to take over the top spot, Florida's Jonathan Huberdeau put up three assists in Saturday night's win over the New York Rangers. He is now the team's all-time leader in assists with 252. He takes over the top spot from Stephen Weiss (249)

Huberdeau accomplished the feat in 487 games, 231 fewer than what it took Weiss. Huberdeau is also not that far behind on the All-Time Panthers' goals list with 134. The current leader is Olli Jokinen with 188. Aleksander Barkov currently has 141, despite playing 54 fewer games than Huberdeau.

Huberdeau was the Panthers' first round pick in 2011, third overall. The 26-year-old had a career year last season, putting up 30 goals and 92 points, far surpassing his previous season high of 69 points.
